Lyrics:

I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry
I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry

I like to push your buttons
I like to pull your leg
I like to get your goat
And rain on your parade

I like to rub you the wrong way
I like to bend you out of shape
I like to leave you out in the cold
And keep you up late

I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry
I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry

And when I make you unhappy
It makes me smile inside
A little guilty pleasure
That cannot be denied

I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry
I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry
I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry (I like to see you cry)
I can't really say I know why I like to see you cry (I like to see you cry)

Song Notes:

The title and melody line of this song came from Jason's archives. Back in the 90s, while counting off to record an entirely different song, he made up and sang this line. Years later Randy and Jason heard it, thought it was a good start, and developed it into this more complete song.

Performance:

Lead Vocals: Jason Feehan
Backing Vocals: Randy Chertkow
Backing Vocals: Tom Roper
Rhythm Guitar: Jason Feehan
Keyboards: Jason Feehan
Drum Sequencing: Jason Feehan
Clarinet: Randy Chertkow
