Lyrics:
Oh they say we use just part of our potential So you should take this advice, that's essential Why do you keep your best part hidden away? It's time to let it come out and play
Going Commando, Going Commando Live fast and free Going Commando, Going Commando It's the answer for you and me, you and me
So you should listen to me and follow my advice There's just one small thing you'll have to sacrifice So next time you should leave it in your drawers Because in this case less is more
Going Commando, Going Commando Live fast and free Going Commando, Going Commando It's the answer for you and me, you and me
Stop cramping your style when you roam Just leave a small piece of clothing at home And next time someone asks you "boxers or briefs?" You can tell them all about your new beliefs of
Going Commando, Going Commando Live fast and free Going Commando, Going Commando It's the answer for you and me
Going Commando, Going Commando Live fast and free Going Commando, Going Commando It's the answer for you and me You and me Fast and free You and me In the breeze
Song Notes:
To his shame, about a month before this song was written in early 2006, Randy had no idea what the term Going Commando meant. The only way for him to repay his karmic debt was to write a song about it. Tom's inspired fingerpicking weaved it into a delicate threnody about freedom from wearing underwear.
